To provide a container capable of applying always and smoothly an appropriate amount of a fluid paste or the like without generating clogging and leakage during coating work.
The container for a paste or the like provides a roller 5 for coating by exposing it from an opening 4 of a cylindrical container 1 with the opening 4 on its one end, and a transmitting disc 11 is brought into press contact with this roller 5 for coating to be able to integrally rotate them. A worm wheel 19 provided on one end of a screw lever 15 provided in the axial direction in the cylindrical container 1 is meshed with a worm 9 coaxially provided to the transmitting disc 11. In addition, a pushing plate 21 which is moved by screwing the screw lever 15 and guiding by guiding projections 24a and 24b in the axial direction provided on the inner peripheral face 23 of the cylindrical container 1, is provided in the cylindrical container 1. The pushing plate 21 is moved by pushing the roller 5 for coating on a face to be coated to rotate it through the transmitting disc 11, a worm gear 20 and the screw lever 15 to forcibly feed the fluid paste or the like filled in the cylindrical container 1 to the side of the roller 5 for coating.
