Abstract:
To solve the following problem: Because a cargo boat loading a number of containers on a deck has a high center of gravity and a parametric roll is apt to occur, it is necessary to load heavy containers at low positions and light containers at high positions; however in order to lower the center of gravity, the parametric roll can be suppressed effectively even if a method of loading containers in a container yard for effectively using this type of loading method and an actual order in which containers reach the container yard do not meet each other.SOLUTION: A container position determination system 1 determines the position of each container in a cargo boat from a destination (harbor) of containers and a container weight, determines a container position in advance in a container yard on the basis of this position and subsequently corrects the position of each container in the container yard and the cargo boat on the basis of a reach prediction time at which each container actually reaches the container yard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
