PURPOSE: To make it possible to closely adhere and close an inlay gap, by a simple method wherein a shape holding jig is contacted with the outer surface of the inlaid part of a lid and a barrel body and the part, which is contacted with the outer surface of the inlaid part, of the above mentioned jig is formed of a metal conductor.
CONSTITUTION: A lid 4 made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin is inlaid with a barrel body 3 based on paper having an aluminum foil 1 applied to the inner surface thereof and a thermoplastic resin film 2 further applied to the inner surface of said foil and a shape holding jig 6 is contacted with the outer surface of the inlaid part 5 of the lid 4 and the part, which is contacted with the outer surface of the inlaid part 5, of the jig 6 is formed of a metal conductor 8 acted along with the aluminum foil by high frequency voltage and the outside resin part contacted with the metal conductor 8 is melted under heating to closely adhere and close the inlay gap (l) of the lid 4 and the barrel body 3. The metal conductor 8 should have a condition for not inhibiting the heat generation of the aluminum foil and comprises a metal having ferromagnetic property stronger than that of aluminum such as iron or nickel.
