Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a container for preservation which keeps the quality (freshness) of food which can be originally regarded as an object for retaining the quality and also reduces an unpleasant stimulative odor at the unsealing time.

CONSTITUTION: Food as an object for retaining the freshness is put in a packing container 50 as a container 1 for preservation, together with an isothiocyanate vapor generator 10 emitting isothiocyanate vapor. The packing container 50 is provided with a concentration adjuster of isothiocyanate which can reduce the concentration of the vapor in the packing container at a part or the whole space of the container.
