Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side seam method in which a liquid to be stored does not contact a packaging paper material.SOLUTION: A container comprising a sleeve 14 and a bottom part 12 and/or a cover 16, and being made of paper or paper-state material, is configured so that, the bottom part 12 and the sleeve are connected in a substantially liquid-tight state on an area of a bottom part skirt, the cover and the sleeve are connected in the substantially liquid-tight state on an area of a cover skirt, the sleeve is formed of a sheet-state blank, an area adjacent to a first side edge 20 and an area adjacent to a second side edge positioned on an opposite side of the first side edge of the blank are overlapped for forming an overlapped side seam 18, and are connected each other by material coupling engagement. On at least the area of the bottom part skirt and/or the cover skirt, at least the area adjacent to the first side edge 20 forms a step 24 which is offset to a residual of the blank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
