Title:
CONTAINER RECEIVING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08175604
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a container receiving device for steel cans, aluminum cans, bottles and the like to be disposed to sort such cans and bottles automatically.

CONSTITUTION: When those containers thrown in from a throwing-in port 101 are steel cans, they are decelerated by the action of a magnet 107 on the way of their falling along a slant plate 105, resulting in their falling into a receiving chamber 113A. In addition, when those containers are aluminum cans, they collide with a leaf spring 109 owing to their speed produced by the drop of the slant plate 105 and they drop into a receiving chamber 113B owing to their elastic force. Also, when the containers are bottles, they collide with the leaf spring 109 just like the case of aluminum cans, but their movement locus may not be changed so much owing to the elastic force of the leaf spring 109 because of the magnitude of their dynamic energy so that they may drop into a receiving chamber 113C.
