To provide a container stacking device with reduced noise and excellent durability, which can continuously stack a plurality of stacked containers at a high speed.

The container stacking device is provided with a guide groove 8a for locking a container B by projecting a lock receiver 6a of a lock member 6 to the container B direction in a predetermined block during the movement of the lock member 6, which is attatched to right and left endless chains 2 turning to be opposite to each other, on a side of the container B. A support member 10 is disposed to be movable forward and backward in a container B direction to support the lowest container B of the stacked containers. The support member 10 is moved backward, after the lowest container B of the stacked containers is pushed up by the plurality of stacked containers B lifted by the lock receiver 6a. When the lock receiver 6a is moved to an upper end of the predetermined block, the support member 10 is moved forward. Then the lock receiver 6a is inclined to deliver the container B to the support member 10, while separating from the container B.
