Abstract:
Provided is a container storage planning device for formulating a storage plan for containers in a container terminal, the container storage planning device comprising a carry-out order prediction unit and a container storage plan formulation unit. The carry-out order prediction unit: generates a prediction model for predicting a carry-out date for each container using, as input, container cargo information which is information indicating an attribute belonging to each container that was unloaded into and carried out of the container terminal in the past, and an actual carry-out date of each of the containers which were carried out in the past; predicts a carry-out date for each of the containers by inputting the container cargo information attached to the containers to be unloaded into the container terminal and to the containers stored in the container terminal into the prediction model; and assigns a carry-out order to each container. The container storage plan formulation unit: determines, using as input the container cargo information attached to the containers to be unloaded into the container terminal, storage container information which is information indicating the storage places of the containers in the container terminal, and the carry-out order of each of the containers which was calculated by the carry-out order prediction unit, a constraint condition related to a predetermined container storage which promotes the efficiency of cargo handling work; and determines, on the basis of the carry-out order of each of the containers and the constraint condition, a storage place in the container terminal for each of the containers so as to satisfy an evaluation index which is defined so as to reduce as much as possible the cargo handling work that accompanies the carry-out of the containers.
