This device is constituted in such a way that each holding member for holding a container between a container supply discharge position and the container work position of a first conveyance body and a second conveyance body vertically arranged in parallel is moved in alternate directions to supply containers to the container work position, the first and second conveyance bodies are moved so as to separate them from each other when conveying containers between the positions, and the first and second conveyance bodies are moved so as to approach mutually when supplying and discharging containers at the container supply discharge position and performing work for containers at the container work position.
