Abstract:
To provide a container terminal capable of eliminating waiting time of a container crane and reducing the number of required equipments on a yard side.
At the container terminal 1 where a plurality of containers 13 installed on a container yard 10 having a quay 5 are loaded or unloaded by the container crane 11, the plurality of containers 13 are loaded in a bottom part of a container installing part 14a where the plurality of containers 13 are installed at multiple steps, and a traverser 15 reciprocating in the direction parallel with the quay 5 is provided.
