To provide a container to accommodate a tool for simply and securely preventing the jaw muscles of remains from slackening and opening the mouth after the death of a human being, and a device composed of related units for this prevention purpose.

The device 1 includes a tool 30 to prevent the jaws of remains from slackening and a container 2 to accommodate the tool 30. The jaw slackening preventive tool includes an about U-shaped fork connector 31 arranged inside the grinders and having left and right wall parts, and a pair of boards 34 covering the molars of remains by extending outward from the top ends of the left and right parts at both ends of the fork-shaped connector. An adhesive agent layer 40 is formed on the surfaces in contact with the molars at the top and bottom board surfaces.
