Abstract:
To provide a container vessel which increases container load by modifying an existing container vessel according to the expansion of Panama Canal, extends service life of the vessel, and improves stability of navigation.
The container vessel includes: a hull 2 having a container storage space 22 therein and a main loading face 23 for loading the containers 5 formed on its top; and two additional structures 3 which are disposed on both sides of the hull, has a sub-loading face 31 for loading the containers corresponding to the main loading face formed on its top, and has a lower side edge extending to below the light load waterline of the hull.
