PURPOSE: To smoothly draw out wet tissues stored in a container body, one by one, using the same drawing force.

CONSTITUTION: A container 10 for wet tissue includes a container body 11 and a cover device 20 adapted to be fitted in the container body 11. The cover device 20 has a cover body 21 to tightly seal an upper opening of the body 11 and a takeout port 24 is formed on the body 21. In the takeout port 24, there are provided a pair of protruding pieces 25a, 25b and a pair of protruding pieces 26a, 26b which are arranged symmetrically with the pieces 25a, 25b with respect to a symmetry line L. The symmetry line L is approximately parallel with fold lines of wet tissue.
