Abstract:
To provide a cargo handling method and a cargo handling system for a container yard capable of increasing cargo handling efficiency by uniformizing a load on a container cargo handling means.
In this cargo handling method for the container yard 7, each time a carrying operation for a container 6 from a ship 3 or an external chassis 11 to the container yard 7 occurs, information on the operating state of an RTG (container cargo handling means) 19 in each lane 17 and the stacked number of containers in each storing place are provided and, based on the information, the stored position of the containers is determined and the containers are stored in the container storing position.
