To provide a container capable of changing the insertion position of the fork of a lift truck corresponding to the weight of an object to be transported and excellent in working efficiency in erecting a stanchion.
A pair of outside fork pockets 22 are arranged in parallel using the center line 3 of the container 10 as center and a pair of inside fork pockets 24 are arranged between the pair of outside fork pockets 22. A pair of first-to-third stanchion pockets are connected respectively with each other via a partition wall, further outside than the pair of outside fork pockets 22, between the pair of inside fork pockets 24, and between the outside fork pockets 22 and the inside fork pockets 24. The stanchion pockets have substantially the same dimension and shape and are arranged straightly in a transport travelling direction X. Furthermore, the outside fork pockets 22 and the inside fork pockets 24 have substantially the same width in each transport travelling direction.
