The container 1 includes: the container body 10 in which a top 11 is opened to form an opening edge 12 and a folding wall 13 is formed on the opening edge; and the lid 30 having enclosing part 31 which is openable and closable to the container body and encloses the opening edge and the folding wall in a closed state relative to the container body. The container further includes: a contact edge part 32 abutting against the opening edge and a skirt part 33 formed around the contact edge part, on the enclosing part of the lid; and an operation part 20 for turning up a lower end of the skirt part, on the folding wall of the container body.
