To provide a container which can be easily folded and expanded and can be applied to any matters to be transported.

A container is formed into a square shape by a bottom plate 1, a front face plate 2, a back face plate 3, right and left side plates 4, 5, and a roof plate 6. Opening/closing doors A and B are provided on the front face plate 2. The support heights of the lower parts of the front face plate 2 and the back face plate 3 having the opening/closing doors A and B are made different from each other by at least a thickness of one plate and are respectively supported axially and rotatably by the bottom plate 1. The remaining opposite right and left side plates 4 and 5 are respectively formed in a manner foldable into two up and down inwardly. The lower parts of the side plates 4 and 5 are respectively supported axially and rotatably by the bottom plate 1 at a common support height which is higher than the support height of the back face plate 3 by a thickness of one plate. The upper parts of the right and left side plates 4 and 5 are respectively supported axially by the roof plate 6.
