Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a silent lid opener to ease a shock at the opening of a lid body of a rice cooker having an automatic lid opener.
CONSTITUTION: Body 51a of a rice cooker is arranged with the top surface thereof open and a lid body 4 to cover the opening of the top surface. A hinge shaft 6 is provided to pivot the lid body 4 when the lid is opened and a hinge side part 5 on the side of the hinge shaft of the lid body 4. A brake rubber 1 turning is deformed elastically after abutting the hinge side part 5. A brake shaft 2 pivoting the brake rubber 1 free to turn is fixed on the brake rubber 1 to accomplish an opening of the lid in silence.
