A BD-J application program for controlling reproduction of BD-JP contents recorded in a BD 41 causes a computer to function as: a content control unit 31; a resume information-recording part 32 for storing resume information to specify a reproduction position of contents controlled for reproduction in a HDD 13; a resume information reading part 33 for reading, when reproduction control by the content control unit 31 is started, the resume information stored when the BD 41 relating to reproduction control is reproduced before; and a resume control unit 34 for causing the content control unit 31 to start reproduction of contents from the reproduction position specified by using the read resume information.
