The content reproduction system 10 backs up a content to be stored in a portable storage medium 150, and permits any one of the content reproduction devices 100 to reproduce the content. Further, the system 10 limits the number of contents simultaneously reproduced by the content reproduction device 100 permitted to reproduce the content.
