To provide an extremely simple content search system without data registration, character input of search words, or feature matching.
The content search system which searches content data stored in a mass storage medium 11 has a link configuration means 12 for registering a content that is an origin of relations as an origin related content to configure a reference relation link between the origin related content and others related to it, and a search means 13 for specifying the origin related content to search a desired content based on the link. In addition, the content search system also has a use frequency tabulation/display control means 14 for summing the use frequency of the stored contents or the link to display high use frequency contents anterior so as to be more easily searched with changing weights, such as display order, display location and character size.
