Abstract:
To provide a function for restarting content reproduction with ease when a user stops the content reproduction and wants to restart the reproduction by a different apparatus.
In a first apparatus, resume information including a stop position, a URL and a stop time of a content is created by a button operation, and transmitted upon request. A second apparatus requests the resume information by a button operation, selects the resume information including the latest time when the content is stopped from the received multiple resume information, requests the content based on the content URL and the stop position included in the resume information, and restarts the content reproduction.
