When time information of a portable terminal 1 is changed, a card control means 212 of the processing part 21 detects the time change event, and acquires the present time of the portable terminal 1 before and after the time change via a data communication means 211, and updates the expiration date data 222 stored in the memory card 2 based on the time information. When the expiration date of the coupon is determined, whether the coupon is valid or not is determined by comparing the expiration date data 222 stored in the memory card 2 with the present time of the portable terminal 1.
