To provide a contents printing method, capable of eliminating the need of manually adjusting the position and size in printing the contents of an image or the like photographed with a digital image on existing paper.

This contents printing apparatus includes a scanning means for scanning the image printed on paper and outputting the same as image data, an image position and size storage means for detecting a blank field expressing a specified block area on receiving the data from the scanning means, and calculating the position and size on the paper of the blank field to store the calculation result together with the data expressing the block area, a contents storage means for inputting the data on the contents to be printed on the paper and storing the same, a contents size control means for controlling the size of the contents stored in the corresponding contents storage means according to the size stored in the image position and size storage means, and a contents printing means for printing the contents controlled by the contents and size control means on paper according to the image position.
