Abstract:

To provide a contents reproducing terminal with which viewers of AV contents can surely browse the latest advertisements and further can listen and view AV contents, even in a situation where connection to the Internet can not be made.

When having failed to obtain an advertisement through a communication unit, a controller sets as 1 an unreceived flag corresponding to the advertisement, and in addition, makes an AV contents reproducer reproduce the AV contents corresponding to the advertisement. Subsequently, when a demand for reproducing any of AV contents is received from a user, the controller automatically obtains the advertisement through the communication unit to make an advertisement reproducer reproduce the advertisement.
