Abstract:
To provide a continuous heat treatment furnace, subsequently to certain heat treatment, capable of performing steam treatment different from the heat treatment at high energy efficiency.SOLUTION: A continuous heat treatment furnace 10 comprises: a first heating region; and a second heating region provided at the downstream side of the first heating region. The heat treatment furnace 10 comprises: a first atmospheric gas feed system 74 composed so as to feed a first atmospheric gas for the heat treatment of the object to be treated to the first heating region; a second atmospheric gas feed system 72 composed so as to feed a second atmospheric gas for the steam treatment of the object to be treated to the second heating region, and including a second atmospheric gas generation device 50D composed so as to burn the air for burning and a fuel at a prescribed ratio to generate the second atmospheric gas; and a gas cutoff system 100 provided so as to prevent the mixing of the first atmospheric gas and the second atmospheric gas between the first heating region and the second heating region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
