Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuity tester performing GO/NO-GO test of a wiring circuit correctly while preventing sinking of pins and dealing with thin insertion hole incident to high density wiring circuit.
SOLUTION: The continuity tester comprises contact pins 2 abutting against a wiring circuit 71, stopper terminals 4 connected with a lead wire 15, and coil springs 3 interposed between and pressing them outward. A housing 5 comprises a guide plate 55 having guide holes 550 receiving the contact pins, a back face board 57 arranged with terminal holes 570 for inserting lead wires, and a plurality of laminar main boards 56 having insertion holes 560 containing the coil springs. The coil spring 3 includes tightly wound parts 32 having number of turns larger than that of general part 31 or smaller diameter parts 33 which are arranged oppositely to the joint 563 of main boards 56.
