Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous billet rolling equipment which can operate regardless of the billet cutting method with a continuous casing machine(CCM).
SOLUTION: In this continuous billet rolling equipment which continuously connects preceding and following billets with a flash-butter welder 4, heats the continuous billets, and then rolls them with a rolling mill line 7, a rolling mill 30 for reducing the end portions of the preceding and following billets to form the end portions and also remove scale, is installed on the upstream side of the flash-butt welder 4.
