Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting facility.SOLUTION: A continuous casting facility comprises: a smelting device having a smelting space for storing molten metal; a pull-out device disposed on one side of the smelting device so as to communicate with the smelting space; at least one roller train including a first roller and a second roller which forms a passage between it and the first roller; and a driving device connected to the roller train, driving the first and second rollers for making the rollers execute first rotary motion and second rotary motion respectively, in which rotation directions of these two rotary motions are opposite each other, and reciprocating a solid metal in linkage with the rotary motions. The molten metal is cooled via the pull-out device, for forming the solid metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
