Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a continuous casting method for a die casting wheel and the die casting machine by which the die casting wheel with a high quality is manufac tured, and also, the whole die casting casting cycle time can be shortened remarkably.
CONSTITUTION: This die casting machine includes a fixed board 12 provided with a semi-movable metallic mold 16 provided so as to be contactable and separable to and from a main body part 20 side, and a movable board 14 for moving forward and backward in the direction of this fixed board. Also, this die casting machine contains a process in which when the movable board 14 executes a mold opening operation after a molten metal is force-fitted into a metallic mold cavity 10, a semi- movable metallic mold 16 is moved in the mold opening direction by allowing it to synchronize with the mold opening operation of the movable board 14 by necessary driving force, the movable and the semi-movable metallic mold are stopped in a middle position before reaching a mold full opening position of the movable board 14, and its state, a sprue runner part 50 continued to a product is subjected to shearing, and thereafter, the semi-movable metallic mold returns and moves to the main body part side.
