Abstract:
To reduce noise of a movable blade at direction changing time in a continuous document cutting device for reciprocating the movable blade to a fixed blade.
A continuous document cutting device 10 intermittently carries a continuous document 12 by a tractor 14 to cut the continuous document 12 by reciprocating a movable blade 18A in a cutter 18 to a fixed blade 18B, a control device 24 control an operation speed of a cutter motor 22, sets both blades to low speed operation in a top dead center vicinal area for passing the continuous document 12 opening the movable blade 18A from the fixed blade 18b, sets both blades to speed operation at cutting time, and reduces sudden acceleration of the movable.
