Title:
CONTINUOUS DRIVING METHOD FOR STEEL SHEET PILE AGAINST HARD ROCK LAYER AND EQUIPMENT USED FOR THE METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3877320
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a continuous lap drilling hole and to perform the continuous driving of a steel sheet pile into the lap drilling hole against a hard rock layer by one civil engineering foundation machine.
SOLUTION: A single drilling hole C1 is formed by a vibrating auger machine connecting a drilling shaft 2 with a conventional down-the-hole hammer 3'. Then, the drilling shaft 2 is exchanged with a chuck 10 for holding a steel sheet pile to drive the steel sheet pile P with vibration. Then, the chuck 10 is exchanged with the drilling shaft 2 with the down-the-hole hammer 3 including a section guide 5 connected to the vibrating auger machine while a lap drilling hole C2 is formed in an existing drilling hole C1 by guiding and engaging a section 5 of the down-the-hole hammer 3 to a section PE of an existing steel sheet panel P. Then, the drilling shaft 2 is exchanged with the chuck 10 to engage with and to drive with vibration the section PE of the existing steel sheet pile P to a new steel sheet pile P. Thus the formation of a continuous lap drilling hole C2 and the driving of the steel sheet pile into the drilling hole are repeated by one vibrating auger machine.
