Abstract:
PURPOSE: To save manpower by automating a series of operations of attracting and holding the holding surface of the empty hangers of the uppermost stage set at a prescribed height by suction cup disposed at the front end of an expansion rod of an arm section and supplying the empty hangers to a detaining section with the device adequate for utilization to an automated line for wash.
CONSTITUTION: The height position of the empty hanger 2 of the uppermost stage among the empty hangers 2... housed in a hanger housing base is detected by a height sensor. The hanger housing base is intermittently rise by a lifting device and the empty hanger 2 of the uppermost stage is set at the prescribed height when the empty hanger 2 of the uppermost stage does not exist at the prescribed height. Next, a cylinder section 16 is extended to attract and hold the holding surface 10 of the empty hanger 2 by the suction cup 17 at its front end. The empty hanger 2 is then lifted and a rotating shaft 15 is rotated about 90° by an arm driving motor 14 to direct the cylinder section 16 to a horizontal state; thereafter, the cylinder section 16 is extended to engage the empty hanger 2 with a detaining section 26. The attraction of the suction cup 17 is then released and the empty hanger is transferred to the detaining section 26.
