PURPOSE: To feed sheet member continuously to the rear side of carrying object, by fixing a plurality of sheet rolls rotatably to the opposite ends of a swingable arm while providing means for guiding the leading edge of sheet member to the rear side of carrying object.
CONSTITUTION: A swingable arm 9 is provided with sheet rolls 10a, 10b at the opposite ends and set to predetermined angle, then sheet rolls 10a, 10b are fitted rotatably over the self shafts 11a, 11b. Thereafter, the leading edge of sheet member (S) is pulled out from the sheet roll 10b side and fed between a carrying conveyor 2a and carrying object (W) to pressure contact the carrying object (W) and sheet member (S) through pressure cootacting system 4. Then the carrying object (W) is fed in X-direction of feed out the sheet member (S) sequentially. When rewinding from the sheet roll 10b reaches to the end and the terminal portion S1 of sheet member (S) passes between phototubes 27a, 27b, the leading edges S2 of sheet member (S) in the other sheet roll 10 is lifted by the air fed through an air blow-out pipe 13a and fed.
