約０．３ｍｍ以下の厚さを有する可撓性ガラスリボン（２０）を加工するための連続的ガラス加工装置の輸送構造（２２）のための曲率半径を選択する方法が提供される。本方法は、可撓性ガラスリボン（２０）の厚さを同定する工程を含む。可撓性ガラスリボン（２０）の加工の間に、該可撓性ガラスリボン（２０）に適した所定の曲げ応力レベルが選択される。所定の曲げ応力並びにウェブ偏向角度及び線張力のうちの少なくとも１つに基づいて、ガラス加工装置を通る可撓性ガラスリボンの加工の間に、該可撓性ガラスリボン（２０）の輸送に適した輸送構造のための曲率半径（Ｒ）が選択される。輸送構造を含むガラス加工装置が提供される。
