To provide a continuous heating furnace capable of reducing a deviation between a control target temperature and the actual temperature while maintaining a stable combustion state, and a method for controlling its combustion.
The method for controlling the combustion of the continuous heating furnace 100 having a preheating band 30, a heating band 40 and an even heating band 50 is provided. Two or more pairs of heat-storage-type burners 10, 10 and the like are provided in at least one or more of the areas of the preheating zone 30, the heating zone 40 and the even heating zone 50. The amount of combustion in the heat-storage burners 10, 10 and the like is adjusted by varying the flow rate of fuel supplied to the heat-storage-type burners 10, 10 and the like, by removing some of the one or more pairs of heat-storage-type burners 10, 10 and the like, and/or by varying the ratio of the combustion time to the suction time of the heat-storage-type burners 10, 10 and the like.
