Abstract:
To provide a method for continuously and stably manufacturing a water-absorptive composite body uniform in the support level of a water-absorptive polymer.
In the method of continuously manufacturing the water-absorptive composite sheet by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer that gives the water-absorptive polymer in the gas phase in the form of droplets and by dropping the droplets that are under polymerization on a sheet base material that moves at a constant speed, the above polymerizable monomer is sprayed from a spray nozzle into a hollow conical form.
