To provide a continuous nonoxidation furnace and its control method high in energy efficiency, and capable of stably performing an incomplete combustion of fuel in a furnace body.
This furnace continuously processes an object to be heated in a nonoxidation atmosphere gas generated by incompletely burning fuel. The inside of the furnace body 10 is divided into a plurality of zones composed of at least one zone for generating the nonoxidation atmosphere gas and at least one zone for secondarily burning the nonoxidation atmosphere gas generated in the zone in the advancing direction of the heating object. Combustion equipment 11 for incompletely burning fuel is arranged in a heating zone B for generating the nonoxidation atmosphere gas. Radiant tubes 12 and 13 being a secondary combustion chamber are arranged in a preheating zone A and a soaking zone C for secondarily burning the nonoxidation atmosphere gas.
