To provide a continuous-form printer which enables it to be easily determined whether or not print data as a printing object are reprinted, in recovery printing, and which is inexpensive by virtue of the disuse of a special mechanism for rewinding etc.
In the recovery printing, the printing is restarted from the printing of the print data for pages preceding incompletely printed pages at the suspension of the printing on a continuous form 12 by a predetermined number of pages, after the printing on the continuous form 12 is suspended. When the recovery printing is performed, the continuous-form printer prints recovery information (bar codes 40 and 42), associated with reprinting, on the margin of each page subject to the reprinting of the same print data as the print data which have already been printed on the continuous form 12.
