PURPOSE: To supply parts completely automatically in a feeder for sequentially feeding out a lot of parts aligned in line from a take-out port with vibrations by detecting a jamming of parts and automatically removing the jammed parts.
CONSTITUTION: A lot of parts which have been aligned in line and fed into a parts transport groove 4 from a take-in port 2 of a transport bed A are transported to a take-out port 3 with vibrations produced by the operation of vibrating means 5. At this time, the vibrating means 5 is stopped when the absence of parts is detected by the first detecting means 7. Simultaneously, a parts presser 6 always located at a close position through a piston by compressed air supplied to a cylinder is released by spring force by deflating the compressed air. Subsequently, a part removing head B is moved from the take-out port 3 to the take-in port 2, and is stopped at a position where the second detecting means 8 first detects a part, so that the above part is removed from the transport groove 4 by removing means 10.
