A lifting and lowering means 4 lowers the cutter 4c as moving in a carrying direction of the feed conveyor 2 when the holder 3 is moved under the cutter 4c to cut the produce P on the holder 3, and after the cutting, lifts the cutter. Pieces of produce P can be cut continuously as carried by the feed conveyor 2.
