PURPOSE: To continuously produce a capsulated toner excellent in print quality and hardly causing a skin or offset/smear on a developed picture.
CONSTITUTION: An oil phase containing a core monomer, an oil soluble shell monomer and a pigment and a water phase containing a surfactant are continuously supplied into a continuous flow-through mixing tank, respectively. Then the two phase are homogenized to form small oil droplets having about 3-25micron average diameter, a water soluble shell monomer is supplied to an agitating reactor to take place an interfacial polymerization and to take place a shell formation. In this way, the continuous production method of the capsulated toner containing the core containing the capsulated polymer and the pigment in the polymer shell is realized.
