Abstract:

To provide a device and method for continuously producing and dehydrating gas hydrate by the principle of centrifugal separation.

The device includes: a gas supply source; a water supply source; and a reaction container supplied with gas and water from the gas supply source and the water supply source, and reacting the supplied gas and the supplied water therein. A centrifugal separator and a water wheel are placed in the reaction container. A gas hydrate slurry is generated by reacting the supplied gas and the supplied water in the reaction container. The generated gas hydrate slurry is supplied to the centrifugal separator by the water wheel. The centrifugal separator can induce an effective additional reaction by crushing and scattering water that has not been reacted with the gas hydrate slurry.
