Abstract:

PURPOSE: To continuously and stably regenerate a urethane film applied resin by bringing the molten urethane film applied resin into contact with high temp..high pressure benzyl alcohol in the presence of a specific amt. of an alkali catalyst under constant temp. and pressure conditions and decomposing and finely dividing the urethane film to uniformly and finely dispersing the same in the resin.

CONSTITUTION: A benzyl alcohol soln. containing 0.1-2.0wt.% of an alkali catalyst is raised in pressure up to a specific pressure by a quantitative pump 2 to be supplied to a high temp..high pressure benzyl alcohol vapor injection port 45. The alkali catalyst-containing benzyl alcohol soln. fed to a contact zone 424 from the vapor injection port 45 comes into contact with the molten resin containing a urethane film sent out of the contact zone 424 to be heated to produce benzyl alcohol vapor. At the same time, the alcoholysis reaction of the urethane film is advanced in the presence of the alkali catalyst by this contact and the urethane film is finely divided to be dispersed in the molten resin.
