PURPOSE: To obtain a rolling mill capable of dealing with plural kinds of rolling processes without exchanging rolls by forming the mill into a series of mills consisting of two pairs of upper and lower, right and left rolls which are respectively provided with plural grooves and made movable in the vertical and horizontal directions, in a continuous mill of bar material.

CONSTITUTION: Two pairs of upper and lower, left and right rolls of a continuout rolling mill of wire rod, bar material, and pipe material have plural roll- grooves A1 and B1, A2 and B2 (not shown in the figure) respectively. The rolls 4,5 are incorporated in a roll frame 3, and are spline-fitted to splined axes 6, 7 respectively, to move the frame 3 left and right by a positioning mechanism 11. The rolls 38, 39 are also moved vertically in the same way. In this way, one of the grooves A1, B1 and A2, B2 is selected easily, and a bar material T is rolled into a T1 by the rolls 4, 5, and further into T2 by the rolls 38, 39, that is the plural kinds of outer diameters are obtained by rolling.
