Abstract:

PURPOSE: Ozone-containing water is jetted to the food product being conveyed in the atmosphere of ozonized air to effect the sterilization and rinsing of the food product.

CONSTITUTION: The chain 4 is conveying the food product within the enclosure 5 and an ozonized gas is blown from the inlets 7 into the enclosure. Further, ozone- containing water is jetted from the nozzles 9 to effect the rinsing and sterilization of the food product. This process can be applied to food products such as fishes, shells, meat including internal organs, vegetables, fruits, soybean curds, noodles and paste products.
