Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a continuous thread cutting machine having good weight balance in work facing upward, work in a fixed position, etc., and capable of nimbly performing a cutting operation.
CONSTITUTION: A continuous thread cutting machine is provided for shearing an object to be sheared such as a continuous thread bolt, by a pair of cutting edges. A handle section 5 is provided, being projected from a main body barrel section 4 housing a motor 1, a speed reduction gear 2 and a cutting edge driving mechanism 3. A cutting action section 6 having a cutting edge is projectingly provided in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the main body barrel section 4. The handle section 5 is placed so that its axis crosses and is nearly orthogonal to the axis of an object to be sheared when the main body barrel section 4 is placed so that its axis is in parallel with that of the object to be sheared.
