The bucket elevator has: a plurality of buckets to scrape and unload the bulk load; a chain to hold the buckets; a load motor 75 to drive and revolve the chain; an inverter to detect a load of the load motor 75; and a PLC 80 which controls the load motor 75, when a value based on the load detected by the inverter becomes equal to or lower than a set value A, so that a moving speed of the buckets becomes less than the moving speed thereof when the value based on the load is larger than the set value A.
