PURPOSE: To make a simple vacuum sealing and to make it possible to impregnate a sheet shaped substance in a short time with high viscosity resin solution.

CONSTITUTION: The sheet shaped substance 13 sent from an uncoiler 12 passes the vacuum sealed unit 9 made up of three rolls 2, 2', 2" and again passes the vacuum sealed unit 9 through the free roll 3 equipped in a vacuum impregnating chamber 1 and then is sent to a drying machine 11. The vacuum impregnating tank 1 is filled with resin solution 4. The resin solution 4 is supplied by the circulating pump 8 to the upper part of the vacuum sealed unit 9 and the vacuum seal is carried out by resin solution 4 and three rolls 2, 2', 2". The vacuum impregnating tank 1 is kept by driving a vacuum pump 7 under the reduced pressure and the sheet shaped subtance 13 is impregnated continuously by passing through the resin solution 4.
