PURPOSE: To prevent inclination of a moving flange based on a fixed flange and to improve durability of continuously variable transmission by locating a static-pressure bearing part to an engaging slide contact part between a fixed flange shaft and the moving flange.
CONSTITUTION: A moving flange 7 is arranged in an engaged state on a fixed flange shaft 2 facing a fixed flange 1. Ball grooves 8 and 9 positioned facing the engaging surfaces of fixed flange shafts 2 and the moving flange 7, respectively, in a manner to extend in an axial direction. Especially, a static-pressure bearing part 20 is located to a engaging slide contact part between the fixed flange shaft 2 and the moving flange 7. The static-pressure bearing part 20 is arranged to ball splines 11 and is composed by a pocket 21 for a static pressure formed in the inner periphery of the moving flange 7 and an oil hole 22 through which each pocket 21 is communicated to a fixed flange shaft central hole 16. This constitution prevents inclination of the moving flange 7 by means of the bearing force of the static-pressure bearing part 20, even when a ball 10 of a ball spline is squeezed, and improves durability of a continuously variable transmission.
